Perfect Venue?

I’ve been thinking…

What was once considered unusual for a wedding venue, old barns on family farms and yurts that haven’t seen the light of day since Glasto in 1968 are now well travelled on the map of desired wedding venues. Now its hot air balloons & deep sea diving with sharks that’s considered slightly unusual. Personally, I still love an old rickety barn in a field wrapped within an inch of its life in ivy and wild flowers – by hey, I’m a sixties chick trapped with an eighties birthday. Every year the band & I travel the length of the country to play at weddings and are always pleasantly surprised at peoples choices. Spooky Gothic castles, giant tipi’s, old church ruins within an open marquee, circus big tops – you name it we’ve played it! After reading this wee feature in The Guardian recently we’re curious to know, where have you chosen to celebrate your nuptials and what’s the strangest place you have had the pleasure to attend?!
